Rain Rain Come Again
I just had to capture a picture of this weather since it almost never rains here in California. Literally ran out put together a quick outfit and snapped this in less than 5 minutes. I had to use my phone for this shot since it's waterproof and my camera unfortunately isn't -____- It didn't turn out that bad ;)

Hipster Meets Mainstream
I'm always on the look out on my social media to explore the next new adventure. It's probably my photographer instinct to travel wherever just for a good picture. Even to the point where I paid 10 dollars for a donut just because it has flowers on it (worst purchase ever! But worth the picture).

Started From the Bottom Now We're Here
I recently visited one of my close friend and her family up in Guistine, California. I don't expect any of you to know exactly where that is located along California because I've never heard of that place myself prior to her moving there with her husband. Trust me when I saw it's in the middle of no where.
Guistine is located towards central California surrounded by nothing but farmlands. It's about an hour and a half south of Francisco. When I first arrived the first thought in my mind was I can probably be killed out here and no one will ever know. There is nothing in Guistine. The nearest Target is 40 minutes away. The nearest grocery store which is in Newman 10 minutes away from Guistine has extremely expensive groceries. If we want reasonable priced groceries we had to drive 30 minutes to one. It does not make sense to me that they are surrounded by farmland and they grow the food that gets transported all over the states yet groceries are overpriced there... How does that make sense?
Well, now that I got my complaining and the cons of my trip out of the way I can get on with the rest of this blog.
Despite all those terrible traveling for food I found myself feeling at peace and relaxed. There may not be any malls, movie theater, or kbbq places around, but that was the highlight of it all. I got the chance to concentrate on spending good quality time with my friends, time reflecting, and living life at a slower and less chaos pace.
I was falling asleep at like 9 pm which is surprising because here in the OC I wouldn't be able to fall asleep until 11 pm or after. When I woke up I would feel refreshed and well rested. My mind was at peace along with my body. Even when I'm down the OC and slept for 12 hours I still feel groggy and tired.
I was raised a city girl and never thought that I could adapt to town located in the middle of no where so well. At moments I saw myself wanting to move to a place like that to live for the rest of my life.
After a few days my friends and I traveled up to Oakland, CA. It was a quick 2 hour drive. We got a chance to visit the Oakland Temple established by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. By the way did I forget to mention I'm LDS? and before you even bother asking NO, my dad does not have thousands of wives.
I swear the temple was a beautiful sight, and so was the city itself. It was so treeish ;) I got a chance to babysat my friend's baby girl Alene. She is so adorable and it made me realized how much of a privilege it is to have children. Being at the Oakland temple and walking around the grounds with Alene was one of my favorite peaceful moment.
This trip was amazing and as much as I love the city the peacefulness of the rural area made me not want to leave it. I can't wait to visit again soon!

I do, I don't
Lately I've been changing my mind constantly about what to do with my hair. I went for a lob last March. At first I was like what have I done? Previous to cutting it my hair was past my boobs. It was a tough situation to adapt to in the beginning. After about a week I started to fall in love with my short do.
One thing that my stylist warned me about short hair is that when I'm growing it out it will get to an awkward hair length for a while. Right now that's how my hair pretty much look, awkward...
I want to grow it out, but at the same time I want to trim it back up to my short lob again. I was even thinking of a pixie cut. The awkward length is just so hard to deal with right now D; For those who doesn't know how an awkward length look like, it's when your hair is at your collarbone. It can't decide whether it wants to look short or medium long. It's just there, and I hate it.
I decided to talk myself in dealing with it for another two months and a half so I can surpass my awkward hair phase -____- I'm trying to not wash my hair as often and giving the inversion trick a try. It's where you dip your hair forward and massage it for exactly 5 minutes. Apparently it will help your hair grow faster. I guess good things comes to those who wait. Well lets hope that's the same case when it comes to hair.

For the first time in forever
Let me just start off by saying it is good to be back! For my first blog in forever!! I'm going to do something simple. I was just overly obsessed with this outfit and wanted to share it with the world -____- I'm going to admit that it isn't everyday that I dress up so I wanted to advantage of it.
Sunday is my favorite day of the week; it gives me an excuse to pull out my formal dresses and dress up for church. This dress is perfect for a summer church day. The short sleeves is short enough where it keeps me cool and staying modest.
Can I just say how much I love laces! Lace materials are my favorite because it is thin enough to feel the cool air and keeps an elegant look. Basically anything lace screams out ELEGANT! As much as I do agree that heels makes everything looks classier when it comes to dressing up, but so do flats. The flat shoes I'm wearing has a floral pattern that compliments the white dress. The shoes gives off a surprise pop, and lets just say floral makes everything classy looking.
Take a regular white t-shirt and just put on a floral necklace... BIG DIFFERENCE floral patterns make O_O I know right!
Last but not least!! The earrings! We can't forget about the earrings. I got it for my birthday and it has bought out the best in all of my outfits <3 The simplicity of it just ties together the dress and shoes perfectly. I can't believe I spent the majority of my life so far not having these earring. I can reassure you that I will never go on my life without them ever again.
Not all of us have a purpose to dress up everyday like the Gossip Girl characters. I mean reality is the majority of us don't have banquets or formal celebrations to attend to every weekend. If I could I would love to have the Upper East Side life. It's a girl's dream to dress up and look pretty everyday if we could.
